In very windy but sunny conditions Cornwall took on Devon at Trethorne as a warm up for County Match Week at North Wilts. (20th-24th June). The format was 4 ball better ball match-play. It was a close encounter with 4 of the matches finishing on the 18th green but Cornwall came out on top winning 3½/1½. Trethorne provided a good meal and the day was enjoyed by all. It is hoped that this will become an annual event.
